Mafami Eyewear – Return, Refund & Warranty Policy

We want every customer to love their Mafami eyewear. If for any reason your order isn’t perfect, we’re here to help. Our return and warranty policy is designed to be simple, fair, and customer-friendly.


30-Day Return Window

You can return your glasses within 30 days of delivery.

Refunds (within 14 days)

If your return is initiated and shipped back within 14 days, you may choose:

  • Refund to your original payment method (minus shipping fees), or

  • Store credit for the full product price, including standard shipping for Canada/US.

Store Credit (15–30 days)

Returns received between 15–30 days will be issued store credit only.
Store credit:

  • Never expires

  • Can be used across multiple orders

  • Is tied to your Mafami account

Orders Paid With Store Credit

  • Store credit used on an order will be refunded as new store credit.

  • For mixed payments (card + store credit):

    • The credit card portion is refundable only if returned within 14 days, minus shipping.

    • The store credit portion is always refunded as new store credit.


Return Conditions

To qualify for a refund or store credit, please ensure the following:

1. Timing

  • Use the prepaid return label we provide.

  • Items must be shipped back:

    • Within 14 days for a refund

    • Within 30 days for store credit

  • Returns shipped later than 14 days automatically qualify for store credit only (if received within 30 days).

2. Condition

Returned glasses must be:

  • In original, unmodified condition

  • Free from damage due to accidents, misuse, or improper care

  • Returned with:

    • The frame

    • Lenses

    • Original hard case

    • Any included accessories (cloth, pouch, etc.)

3. Refund Processing

  • Refunds may take up to 10 business days after your return is processed.

  • Your bank may take additional time to post the funds.

  • Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method.

  • If your original card is expired/unavailable, the refund will be issued as store credit.

4. Once Store Credit Is Issued

Store credit cannot be converted back to a refund.

5. Guest Checkout

Customers who checked out as guests will need to create a Mafami account to receive store credit.

Return Abuse

We actively monitor return patterns to ensure fairness. Excessive or unusual returns may be limited.


Manufacturing Warranty

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you believe your glasses have a manufacturing issue:

30-Day Quality Guarantee

Return your eyewear within 30 days for inspection.
If we confirm a production or accuracy issue:

  • We will remake your glasses at no charge.

1-Year Coating Warranty

Defects in:

  • Anti-reflective (AR) coating

  • Photochromic coatings

are covered for one year from the date of receipt.

Please note: We are not responsible for normal wear and tear or damage caused by the customer.


How to Start a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact our support team with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We will issue a Return Authorization (RA) along with a prepaid shipping label.

  3. Pack your eyewear securely in the original hard case.

  4. If returning multiple items from one order, combine them into one package.

We cannot take responsibility for:

  • Non-Mafami products returned to us

  • Items returned without an RA label

How do I send items back?

We’ll email you a prepaid return label once your return request is authorized.

How long does it take to process returns?

Canada & US

  • Store credit: 2–3 business days after the carrier scans your return label

  • Refunds: Up to 10 business days after we receive and process the return

International

  • Store credit/refunds are typically issued within 2–3 business days after processing

Manufacturing Inspections

  • Inspections may take up to 14 business days (excluding weekends/holidays).

Do you repair glasses?

We do not offer repair services, but we do sell a Mafami eyewear repair kit with screws, nose pads, and tools to keep your glasses in great shape.

Can I replace lenses in my own frame?

At this time, we do not offer lens-replacement services for personal frames.

Can my refund go to a different card?

No. For security and PCI compliance, refunds must be returned to the same card used at checkout.
If the original card is no longer valid, the refund will be issued as store credit.
